Situated in Drammen, Norway, in a wooden building nearly 200 years old Haand are trying to keep the long tradition of Norwegian brewing alive. When it was first built it was partly used as stables, just after the turn of the 20th century it was converted into a car workshop . This was followed by a small hosiery factory and lastly a micro brewery.

Haand is 4 guys enthusiastic about beer and after having scouted around Europe tasting all the gems they thought it was time to do something of their own. So they set about planning and working to make hand crafted beer.  Run on a voluntary basis in their spare time these self styled "innovative brewers"continually experiment with different kinds of ingredients and processes.  As a result Haand is producing some fantastic new-age beers

Not only lookin forward they like nothing more than digging into old history and traditions in the hope to be able to recreate some of the old Norwegian beer types that got lost through time.

The best possible ingredients are put together by hands that care about the beer produced with no automation. This means a lot of hard manual labour, but the end product is worth it and appreciated by the beer loving consumers. Dedicated to making  'living beer' means no artificial filtration  or  carbonation, but naturally re fermention in the bottle.

The brewery is highly decorated in Norway and is gaining world wide recognition for their vision and passion for craft brewing.
